In theory there are two ways to nginstall fonts in ubuntu, 1 - text mode (via terminal). 2 - GUI mode (rather ribet, but beginners usually preferred). Tutorial and this time I will take the first way. Are for a second you can search in google. eit, just information, the font directory in the File System is ubuntu: / usr / share / fonts.
Copy all the fonts to your home and make a directory with the name fontku. Go through the terminal: Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal.
Now, from the terminal (for entry into the directory fontku) type the command:
cd fontku
and then type the command:
sudo cp *.* / usr / share / fonts
Description of the command:
= sudo to perform commands with root privileges / admin
cp = copy (command mengopi file)
*.* = All files
/ usr / share / fonts pengcopian destination file =
to check, is now open openoffice or similar and see your font collection, collection of fonts you should have been increased.
